LIBRAIRIE ALAIN BRIEUX
The Librairie Alain Brieux is an enchanting parenthesis made of ancient works and rare objects. It bears the name of one of the former owners, took over the shop in 1958 and concentrated its activity on the history of science and medicine. Over time, books and objects have been mixed up to give an amazing cabinet of curiosities. In this place, when you push the door, you can see only wood and paper. After the elegant green storyteller, you feel like entering a old library with its wooden floor and all its books stored in wooden shelves, even with wooden scales to access the upper rays again as in old libraries. In 2005, Jean-Bernard Gillot took over the bookstore with eclecticism by printing in particular his passion for photography and travel.
