Juan Arbelaez's new table in Odeon, where he pays tribute to the cuisine of his native country, Colombia, on two levels.
What a long way to go since his arrival in Paris at the age of 18 and his appearance in Top Chef! The dynamic and entrepreneurial Juan Arbelaez has made a name for himself by opening his Yaya (Secrétan and Défense). With Bazurto, a new string to his gourmet bow in Odeon, he pays tribute to the cuisine of his native country, Colombia, on two levels. On the first floor, there is a cocktail bar; upstairs, a room with a chic contemporary decor where customers come to enjoy empanadas, ceviches and other dishes cooked over an open fire (the house's trademark). On the plate during a summer lunch: mango-coconut prawn ceviche and grilled mule-vegetable filet.
