Restaurant-tea room serving dim sum, gluten-free dishes, exotic pastries and Saturday brunch.
It is necessary to enter inside the Maison de la Chine, facing the fontaine de la place Saint-Sulpice, and cross the travel agency: you will then reach the Maison de Thé, small restaurant and tea room with modern Asian decor. On the walls, you will find an exhibition of photos, regularly renewed, and on the table, dishes with retro Chinese motifs await you. The cuisine is made in collaboration with the Yoom restaurant. You can taste the dim sum with vegetables, beef, chicken and even a dessert with lemon cream, these are small bites cooked by steaming, historically served for travellers on the silk road. You can start with a vegetable salad, peanut sauce. You can accompany the dishes that some are gluten-free, with a tea from China. At snack time, you can go to Maison de Thé and enjoy the exotic pastries, including the cake with green tea, the pastries from Ciel or ice-cream from Martine Lambert. On Saturday brunch combines western tradition and typical products of Chinese cuisine. This small restaurant is an invitation to travel and relaxation: it is not very crowded because it is discreet, and is ideal for a lovers' lunch. Please note: we do not serve a dinner and the tea replaces the alcohol!
