Restaurant expressing Japanese sophistication in Paris.
Between counting and sobriety, Yen expresses Japanese sophistication by itself, pursuing the refinement lesson on plates, unexpected shades of local specialty the soba - the pasta star - in all its forms, and home from imported flour from Japan. For those récalcitrants to soba who have had to be wrong, there is excellent tuna cru with algae and leeks to miso sauce and a delicious Japanese pork Simmered with grapefruit and spinach. The desserts come from the excellent pastry Pastry from the rue de Vaugirard, the green tea rolls are more than welcome.
