Restaurant in Paris serving Japanese national dishes, raw fish, juicy and tasty meats.
Hanafousa is only twenty metres from Boulevard Saint-Germain, its hustle and bustle and its luxury boutiques, but this restaurant is a real haven of peace in its calm and quiet little alleyway, a parenthesis of Zen in a corner of madness. In a sober, almost dark environment, made of natural materials, paper, wood and bamboo, parquet flooring and exposed ceiling beams, Chez Hanafousa, which has existed in Japan since 1927, welcomes you every evening to make you taste "Japanese national dishes", as indicated on the menu... The Kobe style rib steak with parsley, raw fish fillets, vegetable or seafood fritters, nothing that really changes from the ordinary, except the teppanyaki, that part of the restaurant occupied by a hot plate around which you will sit and admire the dexterity of the cook... before tasting these juicy and tasty meat delicacies. But far be it from us the idea of denigrating the simplicity and freshness of Hanafousa's sushi, sashimi, makis or tempura, they are positively excellent!
