L'ACROPOLE
Greek tavern in Paris offering mezzes, kebabs, kokinisto, a menu of specialties of Greek cuisine.
With its simple and Spartan decor, unchanged since the early 1960s, L'Acropole is a successful Greek tavern. Since 1952, it has taken us to Plaka, the ancient district of Athens. The menu includes hearty and delicious mezzés with ouzo, skewers, kokinisto (a Greek beef stew) and lamb gratin. The delicious meal ends with pastries, all sprinkled with a half pitcher of Greek wine. The menu includes all the specialties of Helene cuisine: dolmades, pikilia, artichoke hearts stuffed with feta cheese, cod with Cretan sauce, beef kokinisto with eggplant and zucchini, Greek yogurt with sheep's milk and honey and nuts...
