LA CHARETTE CRÉOLE
Restaurant in Paris elaborating a homemade punch, Creole dishes, a menu of different curries, rougails and fish.
Why has this cart embarked so many people for years in the heart of Montparnasse? Undoubtedly because it allows to go from the islands of La Réunion to Madagascar, then to Mauritius or Rodrigues without moving from our chair and just for the price of a subway ticket. The upper room sets the tone with its drawings, photos, objects and exotic plants that make you dream, the room downstairs is ideal for organizing a private party. Upon landing, you can't avoid to taste a homemade punch accompanied by a Charrette Créole dish garnished with samoussas, eggplant fritters, chouchou, squid shrimps, vegetable bouchons. The menu is a festival of authentic flavors between the different carris, rougails, fish etc. As a dessert, a good coconut pie leaves the last souvenir before finding the Parisian gray. With the addition no peppermint but sometimes a glass of rum, just for the road… The welcome of Sylvain and his team is warm. The restaurant has been awarded the "outstanding restaurant service" label 2009 and once again the Golden Marmite in 2015.

Le volume de la sono est beaucoup trop élevé (discussion impossible !) avec des musiques par forcément des îles !
Avis général mitigé par rapport à d'autres restaurants antillais à Paris
Ambiance chaleureuse. J'adore
