Brasserie Afrique-Orient in Paris offering a mixed menu of fish, chicken and vegetables.

It is the exotic address of Bouillon Racine, the legendary brasserie founded in 1906 by the Chartier brothers located nearby. In a setting with dimmed lights, we are divided between two atmospheres African and Asian to take us from Japan to Australia, from Africa to North America, from the Caribbean to Thailand through a mixed menu. The flavours of curry, coriander, lemongrass mix with chicken, fish and vegetables. The chef knows how to seduce us with his innovative dishes varying with the seasons. To make everyone see eye to eye, the Afrique Orient dish (Africa East dish) mixes in starters specialities from the 2 continents. If you are more into East, the egg and Eastern spices brik pastry will be perfect. On the other hand, if the remote exoticism attracts you, you should choose the tuna tartar in Tahitian way with lime and sesame. Then can follow a thick slice of cod and vegetables curry or beef and vegetables chow mein. Every Sunday, there are two brunches: the Levant one (scrambled eggs with cumin, tchoutchouka, zaalouk, hummus) or the Couchant - West - one (fried eggs with bacon, guacamole and corn chips), the whole accompanied by bread, butter, jam, pastries, Mariage Frères tea, coffee, homemade chocolate, orange juice, etc.

Accueil toujours adorable.
