Le Balto is an institution in the neighbourhood. Its name recalls the time when the tobaccoes named themselves after cigarette names: Royale, Balto, Narval... The establishment does not sell cigarettes anymore but perpetuates the wine bar tradition, bistro style of neighbourhood brasserie trendy. The menu is based on french cuisine sometimes on southwestern. The tartar is well-prepared, the french fries that accompany it are not soaked in fat and have a good taste, the hamburger meat is of great quality, the board of charcuterie is hearty and the choice of wines by the glass is wide enough to find the small grape that is very suitable for the dish. The prices are more than correct and the service is more than pleasant.

Update: after they read our review here, the service lady came out and commented the review sarcasticly and felt threatning to us while we were waiting for our taxi outside.
