Quite a surprise: that's what young chef Martin Maumet, just turned 30, had in store for us when he opened Oktobre last September. This brand-new restaurant on the Left Bank is halfway between bistronomy and gastronomy, offering a whole range of carefully prepared dishes, some of which are available on several menus (the lunchtime menu is very affordable for the quality of the services provided). Special mention should also be made of the dinner menu, to be tried if possible with the wine pairing. Reservations recommended.
