3-star restaurant in Paris offering soups, guinea fowl with bacon, and a classic dessert.

An institution that has seen the cultural elite (but not only) of Paris pass through its private rooms over the years. The first restaurant to have been awarded 3 stars in 1933, Lapérouse has since then experienced various fortunes. To restore its reputation, this splendid house (in terms of decoration) has called on the duo Jean-Pierre Vigato (ex-Apicius) and Christophe Michalak. Seen on the menu on a summer day: sea bass carpaccio, Colette broth with seasonal vegetables, royal sea bream flambéed with absinthe, supreme of poultry with morel mushrooms, to name a few.

Food and setting were correct, but the exorbitant prices: we were made roll in the flour including beginners for evening St Valentine: twice and half the usual price, it is a real shame! We will never go back.
