Address in Paris offering a traditional cuisine, reviewed and corrected with an outstanding quality-price ratio.
Located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Le Christine is a must with its orange façade. A chic and simple table and a refined setting, with exposed beams and stones. If guests are mainly foreigners, the restaurant is still a reference eatery with a cuisine traditional but revised and corrected in the 21st century style and prepared by the chef Rémi Poulain whom you can see working in his kitchen opening onto the dining room. The carte is based on the seasons and the market, and comes in several menus. If you can, choose unhesitatingly the 4-course service, of which the value for money is exceptional.

Opening time and information on LE CHRISTINE
Open every day from 1pm to 2:30pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Menu from €37 to €49. Menu: around €40. Lunch menu: €22 (and €28). Wine by the glass. Starter or dessert only: €10. Main course only: €18. Valet.
Idéalement placé entre Saint-Michel et Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Le Christine fait partie de ses restaurants qui passent les modes et les courants sans sourciller. On y vient et revient à chaque fois avec le même plaisir de savourer les assiettes raffinées de Mehdi Bencheikh, de boire de bonnes bouteilles et de refaire le monde.
La cuisine du chef, formé dans les tables étoilées, est une cuisine vivante qui puise sa technique dans les classiques de la gastronomie française tout en restant résolument ancrée dans son époque. L’art de la bonne sauce, de l’assaisonnement juste et des cuissons parfaites…Une cuisine de produit qui a du sens et du goût, et qui n’a pas besoin d’étiquette pour régaler à tous les coups.

We had booked this restaurant to make a magic Christmas Eve in Paris. The food was delicious!!!
But we are so disappointed by the wine menu and the location
In our country a wine menu includes glasses at around 12 cl. At Christine we got around the half - the first glass was even less, just enough to a sip. That left us with empty glasses during most of the dinner, and created a sense of disappointment of the total experience. Also tables were placed so tight that it was impossible to get out without moving the table, and made any dialogue almost impossible.
The food was really great, but we will not be returning to the restaurant based on this experience.
