Enjoy pies, salads, soups,... and homemade pastries in a restaurant in Paris.

A name that sounds authentic and, let's face it, it is. Behind the gray front, an old-fashioned decor, like a reminder of our childhood (or rather of some people's). The map is printed on sheets of checkered school notebook. Here, you can taste, to name but a few, pies (like the chestnut-mushroom-bacon or the blue of Auvergne-endives-nuts the day we were there), salads (like the vegetarian one), soups to make our grannies jealous, a vegetable crumble with parmesan cheese and of course pastries at tea time or to end a lunch. It's simple, everything is home-made. The flavors of yesteryear are still what they were..

À rare place where one can taste a cheesecake or carrot cake. The coffee is standard as in the most cafes/restaurants in Paris.

Good food and nice ambiance .
Eating like you are at home and the portions is enough.
Hot chocolate was very nice with the lemon tart not too sweet .
Recommended.
