Starred restaurant with terrace in the heart of the Luxembourg Gardens serving simple and generous cuisine.

You couldn't ask for a more relaxing environment: in the heart of the Luxembourg Gardens, near the tennis courts and the Punch Theatre. It is there, nestled in the green, that Philippe Renard has opened his table after having worked for a long time at the Lutétia. This starred chef treats senators, local families and day visitors to the garden with his simple and generous cuisine on the terrace or under the glass roof. On a summer Sunday, the menu included refreshing salads, organic hard-boiled eggs, veal kidneys a la plancha, beautiful pink shrimps with organic Kamut pasta, a blancmange with almonds, peaches and raspberries, cracker puffs with vanilla cream..

Nice place to have a snack while at Parc Luxembourg. We had the dessert table for two and it was soo good and tasty! A small tast of the most typical desserts in France. Coffee was a little overpriced but worth the stop!

Disgusting service. There is a sign at the entrance that says you have to wait to be approached. We stood for 5 minutes. After that they came to us and sat us at a table. We were not given a menu, we had to take from a neighboring table. Naturally, there is nothing in English, not in the menu, not on the website. After we translated and chose, we waited for about 10 minutes until they came to us and paid attention to us. The staff is as unfriendly as possible. They walk with frowning faces and English is practically do not understand. The desire to get out of here faster.
