Great Parisian brasserie elaborating specialties of Montparnasse and succulent desserts.
Opened in 1903 and sold in 1924, this Bouillon Chartier then changed names several times before reverting to its original name in 2019. The listed Art Nouveau setting is exceptional, with ceramic coverings by Louis Trézel. Œuf mayo, quenelle de brochet, confit de canard, choucroute, mousse au chocolat, riz au lait... (almost) no classic French cuisine is missing. But be warned: there's a queue at mealtimes.
