ROGER LA GRENOUILLE
Restaurant offering a menu composed of classic or sometimes revisited brasserie dishes.
Founded in 1930 and taken over by the Layrac family, the restaurant has retained its history and its specialities. It has just changed ownership and has been renovated but nothing too serious not to disturb the regulars and especially to preserve its charm with some new frogs. The new owners of the property François Pagot (formerly Costes en salle) and Marc Lourme in the kitchen have not forget the essentials of the house while adding their own identity. The cuisine changes with the seasons and the spirit of the times but many people come here to eat frogs, the trademark of the house. They can be served with parsley and garlic or trendier in burger with tartare sauce and french fries. The menu includes classical or sometimes revisited brasserie dishes like Burgundy snails sauce with white wine and white garlic emulsion, vegetables and chanterelles tart, cream mussels. You can finish with a nice homemade Paris-Brest.
