A very small restaurant in Paris that is prized for its ultra-classical market cuisine based on grandmother's recipes.

Smallest restaurant in Paris? Le Petit Vatel can almost announce it proudly (10 tables). This case, worthy of a pocket handkerchief, can also boast of being an old Parisian bistro since its creation dates back to 1949. An institution, therefore, whose history is far from over. Lucky people enjoy an ultra classic market cuisine inherited from our grandmothers' stoves: black pudding brick with apples, roasted pig shoulder 12 hours, crispy beef with spinach and onions or chocolate fondant and apple crumble and candied ginger for the sweet touch. There are addresses that deserve to stay in their juice and this one is one of them.

Plats raffinés, service rapide, efficace et sympathique. Prix très compétitifs. Une excellente découverte. Petit par la taille mais Vatel par le reste.

C'était parfait. Du service à l'assiette. Les rillettes de maquereau et le boudin noir étaient excellents. Ce restaurant mérite d'être visité et personnellement je reviendrai.

L'établissement situé en face de l'ancien marché odéon dans un quartier réputé pour ses restaurants vaut le détour par un choix de plats qui sort de l'ordinaire, ceux qui aiment vont apprécier l'os a moelle en gouttière par exemple. LE service est aimable et diligent, tout est presque parfait, le seul hic qui empêche de donner 10, c’est la petite salle un peu malcommode et difficile à aérer typique du quartier latin. Voila un restaurant qui ne ressemble à aucun autre pour un prix raisonnable
