Restaurant offering original dishes featuring seafood and local flavors.

Semilla is in the industrial mind with what is required of apparent stones, pipes and waxed concrete to please everyone. According to seasonal products, a beautiful map is developed to offer original dishes, which honor both seafood and local flavors. If the portions are not always well nourished, it is quickly noted that ingredient agreements catch up. The conductor's harmonious proposals include ricotta-lemon-origan ravioli, melon cold soup with mozzarella di bufala, and crisp pig head. The titles are charming, the result is attractive, not far from convincing. Frankly, it's in the air of time, and that's what's like all the old people in the house.

My husband and I made a reservation to try their tasting menu. We clearly indicated in our reservation that I cannot eat any raw food or unpasteurized milk, cheese or any other dairy products. When we got to the restaurant they did not accommodate our dietary restrictions. Since we were at the restaurant we decided to try the al a carte menu which was very restrictive and the food was not tasty or memorable. We should have just walked out and tried the sandwich place next door.

The food here, to put it simply, was boring. The most interesting dish was the Jerusalem artichoke, cooked in a risotto style - nice flavors! The sashimi starter was also well made, although to be fair, the lions share of the flavor was just the raw fish.

The mains were uninspiring. We had the duck and the fish. It tasted nice, and was cooked well. But there was little imagination or complexity of flavor - well cooked duck, in a nice tasting brown sauce, and white fish in a white sauce.

Une expérience absolument inacceptable.
Ma femme, pescetarienne depuis près de 20 ans commande un plat dont la description sur le menu ne contient que du poisson.
Une fois servi le plat contient de la viande dans la sauce, dans les pâtes et en garniture.
Quand nous signalons ceci aux serveurs, aucune contrition, aucune excuse, on nous indique juste que si nous avions indiqué sur le site web que nous étions végétariens on nous l’aurait dit.
On nous accuse presque d’être difficiles car nous demandons des explications. Et les excuses qui nous sont formulées ne viennent que car nous les demandons.
À travers 4 continents et 20 ans de dîners nous n’avions jamais dîné dans un lieu avec aussi peu d’intérêt, d’égards et de respect pour ses consommateurs.
Paris regorge de restaurants. Celui ci est a éviter à tout prix.

On peut se le dire, sans détour : C'est bien, et bon. Très bon même.
Equipe très agréable, sommelier efficace, belle carte des vins : Chouette diner.
En revanche, le processus de réservation tient du controle aux frontières, les notifications de demandes de confirmation et de rappels de réservation frisent le harcèlement et très franchement donnent envie d'annuler au plus vite.Le manque de savoir vivre de certain ne doit pas devenir l'excuse pour un process à la limite du savoir recevoir. Ajoutons à cela l'application de la méthode " américaine" de rajouter les pourboires ( 10/15/20%) sur la machine à carte bleue, on frise le manque de savoir vivre "à la française". Donc sincèrement c'est bien, bon, sympa, mais je ne suis pas certain de recommander, ni de revenir à cause de toute cela. Aller diner doit rester quelque chose d'agréable, de simple.

Maybe it was an off night but we were unimpressed. The food was good, not great. Service, while friendly, was disjointed, inattentive, and slow. Servers lacked leadership and direction. We loved every other restaurant we went to in Paris, but here.

As an update - the general manager did reach out and apologize and agreed that it was an off night. Her response was thoughtful and would help me to try it again should we find ourselves in Paris in the near future.
