VILLA DES PRINCES SAINT-GERMAIN * *
Charming hotel marked by a muted decoration, personalised rooms, the vaulted cellar for breakfast.
A beautiful name for this charming hotel found in a stone building built in the seventeenth century and acquired by the Prince of Condé in 1612. This elegant and welcoming hotel has incorporated a cosy decor with modern design touches of today. The rooms, warm and personalised, are clear and are combined with a touch of classicism. The colours chosen are trendy: taupe, grey, white, black. Some have a small seating area, and they are all serviced by a lift. Breakfast is served in an authentic vaulted cellar of the seventeenth century.

Rooms are quite small but when only spending time there to sleep and get ready for the day it is not an issue.
Generally the cleanliness was good. My only issues are that there were only two plug sockets in the room, both in the same location via an extension. Also that there was some black mould around the shower enclosure and a little bit of mould around the air vents and on the ceilings.
Also the heating / cooling system did not go below 17C, which was too hot for us. More freedom on this would be better.
Generally it was a great experience staying at this hotel.
