HÔTEL LOUIS 2 * * * *
Hotel with witch's mirrors, sculptures and paintings from travels, sleek rooms and spacious suites.
The Louis II Hotel is a beautiful th century mansion. It is an atypical establishment with its magnificent miroirs mirrors in the form of suns, and unusual by the presence of numerous sculptures and reported paintings of travel around the world. Rafaela, a ship's bow reported from a trip to Chile after a cruise on the edge of the Saint Rafael Glacier, in the peninsula of With, overlooks the living room. Small characters shaped by a German sculptor watch the buffet by laughing. Mappemondes, paintings, books, evoke the trip, a charming girl head signed Saly has her original presentation at the musée d'Orsay in Paris. Stairs illuminated by mirror lamps, gilded coatings, which go through the portraits of Russian or Chinese men or women, chinées paintings on the markets in Beijing or St. Petersburg. The rooms, on the other hand, have been cleaned up after their renovation. They are red, blue or gold-plated and bathed in light. Ancient beams of vintage and antique furniture, mural paintings in the eye, give them a crazy charm. The two suites on the top floor are very spacious. In bathrooms, welcome products Roger Gallet. Breakfast is served in the Chabert lounge.
