HÔTEL PRINCE DE CONDÉ * * * *
Hotel with an attic suite and soundproofed rooms overlooking the rue de Seine.
The Hôtel Prince de Condé is located in the heart of Saint-Germain des Prés, in a narrow building of the 18th century and is today left with only eleven rooms. The reception is found behind an old library desk in a room with views on the street. The breakfast room is charming and a small lounge with a fireplace and bookshelf is available for the guests. Walls whose stones are visible, remind of the past. The decoration is made of wood, a beautiful wood floor and a ceiling lined with a Zuber paper, an Alsatian factory created in the 18th century whose carved wooden printing plates are classified as historical monuments ... A beautiful painting by Marco Del Re, a contemporary artist published by Galerie Maeght in Paris, provides a touch of modernity. The seat Louis XVI was reshaped exclusively for the Hôtel Prince de Condé. All the rooms overlook the rue de Seine, but they are perfectly quiet and isolated thanks to an entrance. There are two per floor and the suite, slightly sloping, occupy the entire sixth floor. It has a hot tub. In each room we find a lithography on literary and art magazines always made by Marco Del Re.
