The capital's one and only Franco-German bookshop, Le Neuvième Pays opened its doors at the beginning of November 2023 in the 6th arrondissement. Sophie Semin welcomes you with an attractive catalog of 6,000 items, a third of which are dedicated to Goethe's language. Classics and world literature, in French and German, and bilingual editions are on offer, much to the delight of German-speaking readers who have been left on their own since the closure of specialised bookshops in recent years. Highly recommended.
