Here is a family story that has lasted for more than half a century. And it pleases in an increasingly aseptic and impersonal neighbourhood. Jean-Pierre and Nicolette, worthy descendants of Georges, and their entire band continue to give small talk behind the bar with old regulars and young people who regularly spend time in the place. An unlikely mix of ages and genres in this old charming and living wine bar with red moleskine seats. The old period photos come alongside exhibitions of young photographers along the walls. We love this place for its so narrow basement that there is traffic jam once two people meet. The place is a tasty mixture between Amélie Poulain and the dreamed Paris of the yéyé time. The wine and the meal are afforable but we cannot spend too much time on their taste quality, it is correct and fully sufficient because you do not go to Georges to taste, you go there to meet your friends. Everything becomes better when you are with your friends!
