This café which looks a little outdated is ideally located, just steps from the Luxembourg Garden, in a quiet street, right next to the great Parisian universities. It is regularly frequented by teachers and students of the Quartier Latin, who appreciate peace that prevails : never of music, and lounge atmosphere. Le Fleurus has a small terrace and also serves some snacks to eat. Some great names of Rive Gauche meet there to relax, including Catherine Deneuve or Nicolas Demorand. This café definitely deserves a visit because it has managed to perpetuate the traditions of the area, while most other addresses were gradually transformed into tourists dens. People come here to find the authenticity of the time when Gertrude Stein lived the busy street, then frequented by all Paris artists and intellectuals.
