Have you fallen for The Queen's Gambit series? Do you like challenges and a cosy, relaxed atmosphere? Here's a brand new place for you! Inspired by New York-style street chess, the Blitz Society concept has taken root in the heart of Saint-Germain, not far from the 64-square tables of the Luxembourg Gardens. Except that here, you can sit back and enjoy the warmth and excellent food, which you can eat on the spot! The curious, amateurs, seasoned players and gourmets are all welcome. A place without equal in the capital.

Amazing and cozy Chess bar, one of the few in the entire World. Stay for a couple of classes of wine or a couple of Games. A truly unique place!

One of the best places in Paris especially if you love playing chess! The ambience is so beautiful, interior is classy, there are chess related pictures on the wall and the service is very nice. Sometimes they even have tournaments and jazz concerts.

It is truly a delightful bar/cafe. Everyone’s minding their own business and playing chess. Chess play fee is 5€ and prices are similar to normal bars. I especially recommend the IPA beer + they offer some chips which is cute. Crumble and coffee were also good :)
