FEDERATION FRANCAISE DE VOL A VOILE
Man has been moving through the air since the end of the th century. It was at that time that the German Otto Lilienthal, nicknamed the King of the Glider, walked on a slope with an aircraft from his manufacture and pierced the secret of flying in the air. This is how sailing was born, and later became a leisure topic. In 1966, the French Sailing Federation was created and represents all pilots of gliders, formula, two, ULM and motoplaneurs. Its mission is to develop and promote this sport discipline and train its instructors. It brings together more than 52 000 licensees.
