BIBLIOTHÈQUE MAZARINE
The oldest public library in France (1643) and located within the walls of the Institut de France, on the banks of the Seine, the Mazarine Library is a rare and precious case containing thousands of documents, but not only that. Within its walls full of history, you can reproduce a document, borrow works for exhibitions and even host film shoots. Temporary exhibitions are organized at the back of the gallery, after having crossed the long reading room dotted with ancient objects, busts and works in glass cases.
