EGLISE SAINT-GERMAIN-DES-PRES
Church hosting free or paying classical, religious or secular music concerts in Paris
The abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés was the owner of a vast agricultural estate and enjoyed a long existence from the 6th century until the French Revolution. All that remains today is the abbey palace (16th century, rue de l'Abbaye) and the church. The interior of the church is a blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. Major restoration work was carried out in the 19th century, in particular by Victor Baltard. The church hosts classical, religious, and secular music concerts, both free of charge and for a fee.

Le square attenant y est très agréable pour une pause pique nique.
