MUSÉE ZADKINE
Museum to discover the works of Ossip Zadkine, housed in a charming house in Paris, where the sculptor once lived.
The Musée Zadkine, located at the end of a narrow alley, is housed in a charming house bordered by a garden. It was here that Russian-born sculptor Ossip Zadkine (1898-1967) lived from 1928 until his death. Nearly three hundred works, divided chronologically into five rooms, shed light on the evolution of his art: primitivism, cubism, mythological ancient art and abstract art. Among the highlights is Femme à l'éventail, a Cubist-style patinated bronze from 1923. The adjoining studio hosts temporary exhibitions of contemporary art.
