It is with emotion that we pass the porch of this venerable school. Established in 1816 on its current site, the school now extends into a series of buildings dating from the th to the th centuries. It includes the old convent of the Convent des Petit-Augustins and the hotel de Chimay. This institution offers a higher education of European renown (painting, engraving, sculpture, plastic arts…), but also exhibitions on various themes. They are organised in specific rooms and the chapel, which overlooks the courtyard of the Mulberry; it is the former convent cloister that was restored in neo-antique style in the th century.
