FATHER ARMAND DAVID'S GARDEN
Garden allowing to make a pretty shaded pause under the plane trees and the lime trees, between the streets of Sèvres and Cherche-Midi
It is not strictly speaking a new garden, but it has been totally renovated, and simple for many, just recently, were it not for the already highly developed plantations that betray the ancient existence of the place. Although it measures only 500 m², it allows you to take a nice shady break under the plane and lime trees, between the streets of Sèvres and Cherche-Midi. It has various medicinal plants, as well as games immediately adopted by the children. Finally, note that the place belongs to the Lazarist congregation, from which came Father Armand David, a French naturalist who discovered many animals and plants during his expeditions to China in the 19th century.
