In this Rue de Buci, food still manages to take precedence over clothes, but for how long? In any case, the little English restaurant is holding up well. Well, English in name only, but the boss, Thierry Bourdoncle, is French, and German-Pratin to boot. He runs the Pub Saint-Germain and the Mabillon. In front of the store, a cart sells Berthillon ice creams. Inside, in a rather chic setting, you'll find classic French pastries - including some giant éclairs and the tarte tropézienne by Sénéquier - and, of course, cheesecakes, cakes, cookies, scones, and brownies. You'll also find delicacies such as the famous Sénéquier nougat, a blend of Spanish almonds, Sicilian pistachios and a high concentration of honey from Provence. For those who feel like stopping off for a bite to eat, there's a range of snacks on offer: mixed salads, quiches, focaccias, cheese boards or smoked salmon, sandwiches, cheeseburgers, club sandwiches, "BLT (Bacon Lettuce Tomato)", etc.
