Ce n'était pas mauvais mais pas ouf...

Nous avons passé un moment exceptionnel au Tan Dinh ! Les plats étaient succulents, authentiques, raffinés et nous nous sommes régalés. La carte des vins nous a impressionnés de par sa pluralité et ses nombreuses références. Un restaurant que nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Overpriced. No taste. Bad service with mediocre atmosphere.
Only plus is their wine list.

Waited at the door as there wasn’t a host to seat us. Waited a very long time to order. The egg rolls were 19 euros and barely any sauce. They were average. The shrimp entrees was very boring. The noodles not spicy at all. The flavor was so boring and average. Did not taste Vietnamese. The fried rice was horrific. Will never go back. The owner spent the whole time showing off his white truffles. So sad as I really wanted to like this place.

Salle sombre et étrange qui peut néanmoins avoir son charme. Le patron semble très agréable, le serveur beaucoup moins. Au vu de la carte aux prix élevés nous nous attendons à des plats délicieux et sommes impatients de les découvrir. Nous commandons le Canard pour 2 ( 64€) plus du riz, car non compris, et deux entrées. A à l’arrivée des plats nous somme extrêmement déçus : les entrées sont assez correctes mais quant à l’assiette de tranches de canard pour deux elle était si pitoyable en therme de quantité, qualité et préparation que j’en ai été choquée. Autant dire que l’expérience a été moins bonne que chez n’importe quel traiteur pour 10€ au coin de la rue. Nous n’avons pas mangé et en avons informé le patron qui nous a répondu avec mépris, avant de nous faire une remise pour ce plat.
Vraiment trop cher pour la qualité, ils osent également servir nonchalamment une pauvre cannette de coca sans glaçons ni citron pour 9€ … Ce n’est pas notre genre de laisser de tels commentaires mais devant un tel manque de respect, il ne faut pas se laisser faire. Endroit clairement sur coté… Je préfère soutenir des endroits qui respectent leurs clients en servant des plats délicieux et imaginés avec soin à des prix souvent bien moindres que ceux la, heureusement que cela existe !

This place is over rated. We sat down and for the next 40 minutes, the waiter didn't even come and take our order. After the order, we try to get something else. The waiter is too busy talking to other customers and refusing to make eye contact.
The food is just ordinary, nothing tastes like traditional Vietnamese food. And they don't even have Pho on the menu. Never go back there.

Very dissapointed to have got food poisoning from this restaurant the night before I had to fly for 22 hours . There wasn’t another person in the place , now I know why

This is a high-quality, high-end Vietnamese restaurant. The wine list is excellent and the restaurant atmosphere is classy. The older staff seems blunt but not unfriendly. Although it is expensive, it is worth a visit if you want to taste high-quality Vietnamese food

Elegant, quiet and attentive at lunch service on a Saturday. The food was fresh, bright, delicious. We tried a mango salad with pork (which was like thin slices of non-salty ham); and the ravioli filled with duck in a delicate broth with crisply shallots on top. Delicious.

Pourriez-vous faire un petit effort pour améliorer l' accueil. Ne jamais oublier que le client est une personne, à traiter avec respect. Qui semble pauvre est mal reçu.
Délicieux repas à part ces détails non négligeables. Très belle carte de vins.

So expensive for what it is, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food was almost tasteless. Their goose dumplings are featured in the New York Times 25 dishes to have in Paris which seems very questionable.

The cheapest bottle of red wine was for 100, but the food was great. Refined Vietnamese, very different than your regular Vietnamese spots, but worth visiting for a special occasion.

Really not worth the money and pretty bland food

89 euros for a shared starter and two mains

Go to the 13th and two can eat well for less than half this price

Not worth the prices they charge. The services is aloof. They wrongly gave us a salad that we had started to eat, when one of the owners came rushing back and snatched it away from the table. Without saying a word. Bizzare.

We waited so long after the apps, mains never came, but were presented with the menus again as if to choose a desert already.

Aloof, pretentious and relics from the past are the three owners. For paying such prices, one would expect expert and precise service, delivery and ambiance. Washrooms were gross, things everywhere.

While the food is good, it isn’t worth the price. 19€ for apps, 32€ for mains and 9€ for two small scoops of ice cream. The quantity given in each leaves one hungry at the end.

Pity, our friends live on the same street. Go to Cinq Mars across the street - way better use of your money and time. And the guys that run it, totally deserve it.

Only 3 stars despite some excellent food (and probably an excellent wine list). Value for money is not there as it is incredibly expensive such as charging 9 euros for a can of coke… too bad!

Mon épouse et moi étions déjà clients de Tan Dinh il y a plus de trente ans.

Nous y avons retrouvé le même accueil de la génération suivante, la même qualité gastronomique, la même carte des vins vertigineuse, tout en ayant savouré un Bourgogne raisonnable.

Et, donc, nous y retournerons certainement.

Quán đẹp nhã nhặn, tiếp đón ân cần, được hai anh em bác chủ quán đi từng bàn hỏi thăm. Các món đều rất ngon, vị đầy đủ và đậm đà. Rượu trắng cực ngon và thơm. Nói chung là rất hài lòng và vui vẻ.

Excellente cuisine fine et savoureuse. Restaurant plein un mercredi soir c’est un signe. Décor un peu désuet mais belle carte des vins dont malheureusement certains prix suivent la folie spéculative mais pas mal de très belle références.

Une cuisine vietnamienne subtile, pleine de saveurs avec des produits frais. Une belle adresse de qualité pour déjeuner ou diner asiatique, même le thé au jasmin est de qualité et le café excellent. Belle carte des vins. Un service discret mais attentif et efficace. Très bonne adresse.

La cuisine est toujours aussi excellente, d'un niveau incomparable avec les restaurants vietnamiens habituels, une vraie gastronomie. La cave est exceptionnelle. Les restaurateurs sont d'ailleurs de véritables œnologues, toujours prêts à partager leur passion.
Un restaurant à recommander à ceux qui recherchent non pas un simple restaurant vietnamien, mais une expérience hors du commun.

Nous étions finalement à 8 à table. Je recommande autant les plats que les vins. Sur les conseils du chef, je n'ai pas regretté d'avoir choisi le filet de boeuf Tan Dinh. L'ensemble des plats vietnamiens était excellent. Un de mes amis m'a rappelé ce matin pour me dire qu'il est réconcilié avec la cuisine vietnamienne. Et en tant qu'amatrice de vin, c'est un plaisir de découvrir les vins d'ouverture de gamme. Si on veut se faire plaisir la cave est somptueuse avec que des grands crus dans des millésimes anciens. Une vrai découverte.
