"Making something new out of something old" is what Stéphane Jego, originally from Brittany and a Basque at heart, believes he has done by renovating his restaurant L'Ami Jean. If the (physical) kitchen has been completely revised, the cuisine (on the plates) always enchants the regulars. Generous and tasty - like the farmhouse pork chop or the mythical rice pudding - and inventive, like the Terre brûlée (a mixture of herbs, seeds and vegetables)... Le chef est incroyable et le service était hyper attentif meme si l’ambiance plutôt brouillard et les tables très serres nous avaient inquiétées au debut.
Un tout petit bemolle c'est la choix de plats végétariens plutôt limitée, si vous étés plusieurs a ne pas manger de viande c'est peut être pas le meilleur endroit pour vous.
On a très envie d'y returner depuis notre dernière visite, on rêve tjs du ris au lait.
