Tea room with a welcoming smile where everything is prepared with love, a choice of formulas is proposed.

A very girly tearoom, a little lost in this part of the street, which makes it a very popular gourmet hideaway at lunchtime. What we expect from a restaurant is obviously the smile and quality of the welcome. Here, it is perfect. We take a seat in the first dining room with parquet, tiles and mouldings. The second dining room is easily referred to as a winter garden due to the presence of a fig tree, and the elegant mistress of the restaurant narrates information about the festivities of the day. It is simple, and it is evident that everything is prepared with love and without weariness, custard tart with chives and the tomato puree, puff pastry with two goat cheeses, lentil salad with spices, chicken with coconut milk, pear clafoutis, cheesecake, this plum tart or the crumbles that are accompanied by a hot lemon honey or iced tea. But if you prefer a glass of rosé, no worries, for it is included in the package.

The main room is nice, but if you are unlucky enough to be placed at the back, you will go thru a claustrophobic experience! No windows, too many tables which leads to too much noise. At midday, you almost have to shout to be heard by the person in front of you. No privacy of course, the table next to you is literally 30 cm away. When I arrived I was placed at a table where the chair was in the corridor. When asking for a change, one of the servers was moody, almost rude. The "tartes salées" are really nothing special: I ordered one with spinach, ham ,and prunes. Nothing much for 18 euros !! A small round portion accompanied by a salad "minuscule et fatiguée". The apple/rhubarb crumble was very good though.
