Parisian establishment serving a menu of great house classics, meat, and a sweet note.
We feel that nothing has changed here for thirty years… But there have also been some changes in recent years, and not insignificant, as for 6 years it has been Arlette, a Mexican in love with France who speaks the language of Molière perfectly, who has taken over the establishment and her client welcome is particularly professional while being warm. At the head of the cuisine, it has recently been Vincent Neveu, a talented young chef who spent 7 years in Bristol before becoming the chef here. The menu will not change the habits of the regulars because the great classics of the house are represented such as the calf's blankets, but Vincent prepares it in his own way. There are also the traditional Burgundy snails, the rib steak and its Roquefort sauce, the veal kidney in Madeira sauce, or the lamb shank roasted with thyme. To finish on a sweet note, tarte tatin and chocolate mousse are safe choices. Finally, for a little story, the historical sign was the table of the greatest of this world and some characters like the famous Commissioner Maigret. A plaque indicates where he used to sit, and you are free to sit there to spice up your meal a little more and take an unusual souvenir photo!
