Restaurant in the heart of the 7th District offering beautiful, regional, and gourmet dishes.
A former associate of David Bottreau at Les Fables de la Fontaine, Sébastien Gravé has opened Pottoka (pony in Basque language) a few metres away from there. A little corner of "basqu'attitude" in the heart of the 7th with a simple decoration, but which showcases Rugby, especially on the walls, with numerous inscriptions that highlight the passion of the owners for ovalie. But it is not only the atmosphere that interests us, it is also the content of the dish: tartare of sea bream and oysters, a meat of crab and avocado on a gazpacho and its ravioli of beetroot with galangal, an organic egg accompanied by Basque bacon, bread fingers of brioche and truffle cream in a casserole, a yellow chicken in crisp garlic, fennel confit and lemon coulis, a piece of lamb leg pickled for 12 hours or even a casserole of chuck (very melting) of braised beef with olives, peas, new potatoes and asparagus... Beautiful dishes, regionalistic and gourmet, rustic trend but lightened on the whole and tastefully presented. And finally, the unmissable Basque cake...
