Hotel is okey, but there is no elevator , and very narrow stairs, was really difficult to take on 3rd floor my large 25 kilo luggage ???? also you can hear everything that happens in the hotel, I’m sleeping with ear plugs and woke up few times per night cause it felt like someone was coming into my room, but that was neighbor door ???? shower cabin are very very small. The lady on reception was very kind ???? the location are amazing, that’s why I actually stayed there, I came just for 1 night, and the places I wanted to visit were very close! Max 10 min to Eiffel Tower!

Rooms were clean and nice. Beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms are small like everyone says. But if you look at the pictures of it you can see how small they are. The showers are REALLY SMALL. Tall enough for me (I'm 6'5") which was a pleasant surprise, however, if you're bigger around the middle it's possible you won't even fit in the doors of the shower. So just be aware of that!

Near the Eiffel tower in walking distance and off a side road.

The hotel was nice and the rooms were ok.

Has an open space in the centre of the hotel.

Minor points:
Check in is 3pm
The AC is over the bathroom door which when it was on you couldn't open or close the door properly.
The rooms are really cold in winter as they have tiled floors.
You pay extra for a breakfast.

Rooms were too small and cramped. Breakfast was very bad. No elevators. Staff was very rude. Had a very bad experience.

I went to the airport in chicago on october 13th for my flight to Paris. One hour before my flight was due to board the airline completely canceled my flight. There was a strike at the airport in Paris that lasted 3 days. They ended up being the exact 3 days I was to be staying at this hotel. I booked the hotel through expedia so I contacted them after letting the hotel know i was stranded in the states. I even told them how heartbroken i was. They knew all about the strike. The hotel refused to work with expedia so I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. The audacity of these people to then dispute my dispute?! As if i CHOSE to miss the vacation that I had spent years saving for? I spent those 3 days crying in bed completely stranded. They were the worst 3 days of my life. Watch out for these people. The owners are heartless and quite possibly the most greedy humans I've ever had the misfortune of coming across.

Rooms were cute, clean and very comfy beds. Nice, boutique little place, nice decor. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Excellen location!! Defo 5 stars for location, 10min walk (max) from Effiel Tower, loads of patisseries, shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Central location to everything, very close to 2 train stations, felt safe at the hotel and walking around at night. Would stay at this hotel again

Due to current conflict, flight took a detour and by the time reached hotel after 12 midnight instead of 11pm. RER C ended service earlier, causing me having to find alternative way... Its abt 10 minutes walk from La Tour Maubourg.

The room is small (expected) but the condition is relatively bad. No lift so you had to be mentally prepared to climb (I got the highest 4th floor)... I was a little disappointed because there were reviews i saw previously that the Eiffel Tower can be seen from the window but was not the case. The wall need to be painted with peeling paint, the safe was not working (it was locked and not able to open it)... The soundproof... is there? I can hear people from other levels closing their door when they step out from their room... The bathroom is small so for people like me who may not be used to tight spaces, will keep hitting the sides... The toilet door itself i cant even close it tight and lock it... Oh they dont provide any bathroom slippers, shampoo, body shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, only hand soap... So if you expect all these i afraid you had to bring your own or buy from the Carrefour City the next day (for our case it was already closed when we arrived on check in day)... Good running hot water for the bathroom... No kettle is provided so you had to go down and take hot water... Bed is 2 single beds combined into 1... Bed was fine except the pillows is quite soft... They will do daily housekeeping and replenish 2 units of drinking water unless you put out the sign at the doorknob...

I didnt opt for breakfast so no comments on it but i can see the utensils are stacked at the sink every morning during my stay there when i went to fill up hot water...

Staffs generally were fine but sad to know they would have everything... We wanted to post some postcards but were told no glue... My wife got a broken nail and we asked for a nail cutter they too had none (I can understand for the latter but was expecting that full stationeries would be available in case it is needed)... Wifi? Yes there is but is open wifi network...

In terms of location, quite convenient with various grocers and eateries around... Abt 15 mins walk to Eiffel Tower and 25 mins (or so) to Seine Riverbank...

Cute little location, rooms are on the small side and there's no elevator for the people carrying bigger luggage.

We chose to stay at Hotel Malar because of its prime location during our brief stop in Paris. However, our experience was marred when our bathroom ceiling began leaking, making it unusable without getting wet. We stayed over the weekend, and we were informed a plumber couldn't come until after our Monday check-out. The hotel's only solution was to provide extra towels, which didn't alleviate the persistent dripping sound or the inconvenience. The front desk provided the manager's contact, but our concerns went unanswered via email.

To make matters worse, we were asked when leaving the hotel room to return the room key to the front desk, which is common in Europe. However, we were repeatedly given the incorrect key upon return. This was especially aggravating given that the hotel only has stairs, and we were on the fifth floor.
