PARC DU CHAMP-DE-MARS
Go there and contact
The first thing that strikes you when you discover the Champ-de-Mars is this somewhat rigid perspective that takes you from the Military Academy to the Eiffel Tower. This park is ideal for racing, turning just before the Eiffel Tower to avoid walking along the quays, which are often very crowded. You will sometimes meet soldiers on horseback there. In the centre, lawns open to the public (the alleys along them are generally more frequented than the wide side alleys). In addition to a bust of Gustave Eiffel by Antoine Bourdelle, this park has many trees more than a hundred years old and the presence of an unusual inhabitant in town: the owl. With a bicentenary history, Champ-de-Mars is one of the largest green spaces in Paris.
