RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL OF THE HOLY TRINITY
Cathedral with 5 huge golden domes typical of Russian religious architecture, part of the Russian Orthodox spiritual centre
Impossible to miss this religious edifice on Quai Branly, with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The reason? The cathedral is topped with five bulbs, typical of Russian religious architecture and covered with some 90,000 sheets of a gold and palladium alloy to achieve a matte appearance. This place of worship is part of the Russian Orthodox and Spiritual Center, which opened in October 2016. The 450m2 cathedral was consecrated in December 2016.
