SQUARE ROGER STÉPHANE
With its romantic atmosphere, this small garden just steps from the Bon Marché seems fixed in time. Between the fig and beech species, along the small waterfall and in the shadow of the large trees, some benches invite to rest, read and be the ideal refuge for secret meetings. Although its area is very modest, this haven of peace offers a small playground for children. This garden was frequented by Chateaubriand, with his friend Mrs. Récamier who first gave her name to square, transformed in 2008 in Square Roger Stéphane (French writer and journalist, old resistance) but whose name Récamier remains for some.
