Institution in Paris serving smoked fish, various hot dishes, beef Strogonoff.

Just steps away from the Champs-Elysées, the prestigious Maison du Caviar, which was founded in 1956, is an institution. In a rather luxurious and refined setting that is perfectly suited to the area and the products offered, the amateurs have a wide choice of caviar (beluga, osciètre, sevruga). Intimidated papillae can satisfy other terrestrial foods, probably less expensive: smoked fish (salmon, eels, sturgeon), salmon eggs, royal crab salad or lobster; hot dishes, crab, chachelick, Stroganoff beef. For lunch or dinner, tourists and visitors are combined and the Russian easy clientele of Paris regularly attends the house.

J’ai découvert les spécialités de la maison récemment et c’est un bonheur pour les papilles. En plus, vous pouvez retrouver leur produits phares dans l’épicerie à l’entrée du restaurant.

Cauchemar en cuisine; blinis épais,oeufs de saumon américain médiocre de petite taille, vodka servie avec des glaçons un barbarisme,tres peu de choix de vodka et la serveuse se croyant entraineuse à pigalle insistant pour nous coller une bouteille de 20cc à 150euros
I went with a friendly Saturday, December 5. We found ourselves in a relatively large restaurant and crowded without any privacy, we very well were welcomed and a table; tablecloth and bottom-of-the-range paper napkins. We wanted to eat caviar. After a choice of two different caviars, we saw arriving two small dishes " kind; saucer of cup with café" with the value of a large spoon convex loose in this dish. No presentation, if only a cup on crushed ice. For other dish ordered wanting to say. No musical atmosphere, some violins too would be. From the €650 for two was not motivated. The waiter did not even condescend to present our plaster (we are two women) for the exit. Restaurant not to be remembered
