Restaurant offering light and tasty Cretan cuisine.
Talos, a bronze giant from Greek mythology, was Cretan. By entering its den, you are seduced by the vegetable plant and, above all, by the light and tasty Cretan cuisine which is, say, the th alerts. Here the products are fresh, directly from this island and the kitchen is made home. If you are familiar with the famous diet only olive oil and raw garlic, you have to embark on the discovery of olive oil fried squid, tzatziki, moussaka, pick of pasta or keftedes (meat boulettes). Then go to the lemon-marinated lemon pig, cooked in pot and Cretan rice before making a spell to the baklavas, a DÉLICE delight! Without forgetting the wine part (moderately of course) integral to the Cretan diet… Vacilis offers organic wines from the Toplou monastery and sells to individuals. The olive oil, also on sale and base of all its kitchen, comes from its field "Talos". Recognized for its superior quality, she won the international competition Mario Solinas, the most important international competition. It also offers pure thyme honey and without mixing, used in its kitchen in addition to fresh yogurt in sheep's milk.

This restaurant needs to be improved in several aspects if want to survive this very competitive culinary segment in Paris. I'm going to leave the points one by one to you.
1- First there's no WiFi. You're in the most touristy city on earth. Tourists from all around the world, many like us have no local cellphone carriers. How's this possible? Not having WiFi ????
2- The menu with the prices updated (higher) is in French only. Something we learned about only after placing the order with the in-English menu. Yes, they told us that AFTER placing the order. I don't know if using the word dishonesty but this is pretty close to it.
3- The "orange" juice smells, tastes, and has the consistency of Mango ???? juice.
4- The people we saw cooking they don't seem to be Greek. The Greek were like bosses sitting and talking in a table more like giving indications to the ones cooking which again they didn't look Greeks at all.
5- The only waiter is not properly dressed as a waiter and is almost never available. He disappeared for several minutes some times. And this gentleman lacks of manners, the proper manners you should use when dealing with customers.
6- We asked for two grilled swordfish and one slovaky (my apologies for the pronunciation) and we received the fishes and not the slovaky.
7- Finally, the fish, that one you see in the photo in this review, was kinda raw.
Only the decoration is something I looked good.
I love Greece and wherever I go I try to go always to Greek restaurants. In my opinion is one of the best cuisines in the world.
Unfortunately we've had to leave this rare negative review to alert potential victims and also, why not, to make them improve the service.
In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
Deco sympa, service très agréable et nourriture super bonne.
