MA DAME
Hotel with a nice table offers a cuisine based on a combination of citrus, concocted by the chef Juan Arbalaez.
Recently renovated, Hotel Marignan welcomes a new restaurant nicely named Limon which means "lemon" in Spanish, because the cuisine is based on a citrus fruit association and it is also a wink to the very creative Franco-Colombian chef Juan Arbalaez, former candidate of Top Chef. The setting is both stylish and fanciful, cozy and intimate, between chic bar atmosphere and gastronomic restaurant. On the menu, a deliciously inventive cuisine ahead of its time. We start with the topadito of octopus, courgette and green lemon. As for a main course, we continue with a good fowl from Landes, a Tréviso and grapefruit, or a consistent rib steak of Argentina, chimichurri. The pastry desserts honour the whole theme of citrus fruit from Limon, with the taron of the Tarta de la Abuela (Abuela means grandmother in Spanish) based on two lemons. In short, it is a delicious original menu elaborated by the facetious Juan Arbalaez, and fortunately because the 8th arrondissement sometimes offers too much of its classics when it is about gastronomy. A little Latin boldness was necessary to disrupt the codes!
