BRASSERIE BAROCHE
Brasserie on 2 levels in Paris offering grilled pork and octopus, lemon meringue pie.
David Baroche is well known to gourmets who frequented his deli paradise during the era of the Petit Théâtre, Place du Marché Saint-Honoré. Here he is in another district and in a completely different space of 300 m² on two levels. The walls are made of brick or stone, the metal beams. The parade of flavours reinforces the charm of the place: piccata of grilled pig and octopus or scallops with smoked bacon, not forgetting the lemon meringue tart or tiramisu with coffee and brown rum which can be enjoyed without counting the cost!

The worst time you can have in Paris. Insipid food. Low-end, tactless and rude tourist clientele who use their phone with sound to listen to videos, parents unable to assume their role, who use their iPad to occupy their kid, without headphones of course, and even find it ok to face time the granny! A restaurant is not an extension of your living room! This place welcomes the worst behaviors of the capital, in the indifference of the management. A waste of money, a waste of time. Pleasant service though.
Et pour le service: ce fut expéditif…Cela faisait à peine 1h que nous étions arrivées (à l’heure prévue) et on nous a fait comprendre que des gens attendaient pour déjeuner et qu’il fallait qu’on parte.
