A must in the mountain landscape: the Association Nationale des Maires de Stations de Montagne (ANMSM). The more than 100 member resorts represent nearly 90% of the mountain tourism offer, i.e. no less than 2 million beds for stays in the seven mountain ranges of the Northern Alps, Southern Alps, Pyrenees, Jura, Auvergne, Vosges and Corsica. Covering 11,800 km², the French mountain is the leading ski area in Europe. ANMSM has entrusted France Montagnes - a website that presents a description of each partner station - with the promotion of its territory. This organization has also developed the concept of "Famille Plus" to welcome children - and therefore families - in the best conditions. The "Famille Plus" charter defines strict quality rules for the welcome, equipment, safety and children entertainment, both in winter and summer. More than 100 municipalities adhere to the "Famille Plus" quality charter, defined for each high season in summer and winter.
