HÔTEL NEW ORIENT * * *
Hotel in a quiet street near the Saint-Lazare station with a contemporary Oriental style and reasonably priced rooms.
In a quiet and residential street not far from the Saint-Lazare station, this hotel with its nostalgic and bucolic accents, with its black and white tiles, its green and flowery reception hall enhanced with old woodwork, displays a contemporary orientalism. The owners have arranged it as a guest house, giving it a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms have a charming appeal with their antique furniture and objects, their fabrics with colourful prints and their refined decoration. Some have a balcony with tables and chairs where you can sit and enjoy the sunny days. The elevator stops at mid-floor and is therefore not easily accessible to people with reduced mobility. It is an excellent address because the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the service and the hospitality of Catherine and Josef Wehrle.

You’re feeling welcome and treated with respect.
Rooms are spacious (deluxe room) and well equipment. However some items like hairdryer need replacement (603).
Ask for high floor, as there’s a night club next by.
Hotel is a little bit off site, so you may take a “grab taxi” or walk.
Breakfast is average.
