Charming hotel near the Parc Monceau with an original interior design, large rooms including the one with a terrace
Located in a th century building near the Parc Monceau, this charming hotel has an original interior decoration. The breakfast room, extended by a veranda, makes it possible to enjoy the small garden all year round. The common parts are spacious with the library, the Chinese lounge overlooks the garden through a bay of ancient and iron bricks with a few drinks of the th century. The th century pink récupération terracotta land, blue and white Chinese plates attached to the ceiling, a gold trumeau to the gold leaf above the chimney, some Chinese furniture, prints, and the atmosphere recalls the decoration launched by Victor Hugo. The Zuber Lounge is a large hall in old oak floors with a wall covered with a panorama of the th century Zuber manufacture representing an imaginary vision of «L» painted by hand using «wooden impressions» preserved until today and classified historic monuments. Lounges can be rented by day for meetings. The rooms, well soundproofed, are relatively large and their decoration remains classic. Charm of original paintings, engravings or photos on paper and stretched fabrics covering walls. Room numbers are located on the floor and not on the doors… Room 117 has a terrace, those on the ground floor are more family.

Chegamos por volta das 23:30 e descobrimos que o hotel está MUITO aquém do que esperávamos pelo valor que pagamos pelo período de 4-9 de Setembro. Não tinham sequer água para oferecer aos hóspedes. Em razão do horário, não encontramos nenhum lugar para comprar uma garrafa d’água. O recepcionista de OUTRO HOTEL, gentilmente, nos DEU 3 garrafinhas d’água quando perguntamos onde poderíamos comprar. O quarto cheira a mofo. O ar condicionado também. Uma aranha desceu ao meu lado enquanto escrevia essa nota. O banheiro alaga durante o banho e a segunda pias (foto) só atrapalha. Há uma infiltrção no piso do quarto. Os móveis da recepção são velhos e desgatados.
Saímos mesmo sem ser reembolsados pelos dias que não ficamos no hotel.
