Founded in 1981, it is one of the most important contemporary art galleries in the capital. One of its main achievements is the organisation of Louise Bourgeois’s first personal exhibition in France (1985). Today, the list of creators it represents and exhibits: Sean Scully, Günther Förg, Jaume Plensa, David Nash, Wolgang Laid, Kiki Smith, Kate Shepherd... Works of abstract expressionism, surrealist and pop art among others are found on the walls. Note that the Lelong gallery also publishes books, engravings, lithographs, digital impressions...
