It's perhaps the most beautiful marathon in the world, rolling out its kilometres through some of Paris's most beautiful neighbourhoods, and amidst an exceptional architectural heritage. In concrete terms, the Parisian race presents no major difficulties, apart from the slow climbs into the Bois de Vincennes, around the 10th kilometre, and the much tougher climb into the Bois de Boulogne, once you've passed the 30th kilometre! Over 50,000 people take part.
